Low Carbon Era: Luxshare's Carbon Reduction Goals Successfully Recognized by SBTi

Recently, Luxshare's carbon reduction targets have officially passed the review and certification by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This certification by a globally influential and authoritative climate action organization signifies a milestone event in the company's green and sustainable development efforts. It demonstrates our ambition to address climate change and our commitment to the path of green and low-carbon action, which has gained international recognition.

In 2022, Luxshare formally submitted a commitment to science-based carbon targets to SBTi, initiating the process of setting science-based carbon targets. For two consecutive years, we have conducted comprehensive carbon inventories and analyses, leading to the establishment of science-based carbon reduction targets aligned with the requirements of SBTi's 1.5°C pathway.

At the same time, we have fully explored the carbon reduction potential within our own operations and supply chain, and scientifically planned carbon reduction strategies. The company is actively exploring energy-saving transformations and low-carbon energy transitions. We have also collaborated with suppliers to create green and low-carbon cooperation models, achieving significant results in promoting comprehensive green and low-carbon development across the value chain. In 2023, the company established and officially launched the Green Supply Chain Compliance Management (GSCM) system's carbon reduction module. This system collects and manages core supplier carbon emissions data, management information, and energy-saving measures, laying the foundation for deeper cooperation with suppliers in the future. From 2021 to 2022, the company's own operations reduced carbon emissions by nearly 700,000 metric tons of CO2 equivalent. From 2021 to 2023, our Climate Change ratings from CDP have seen annual increases.

In the global trend of carbon reduction, sustainable development has become a consensus. Luxshare looks forward to taking joint action with more partners and upstream and downstream companies to address the urgent risks of climate change and safeguard a future where humans and nature coexist harmoniously.
